Britney Spears - Fantastic Fascinating Facts
Born Britney Jean Spears on the 2nd of December 1981, in Kentwood, Louisiana, Britney always knew when she was growing up that she wanted to pursue a musical career. When she was eight years old she tried to audition for the well known children's variety show, Mickey Mouse but was not allowed due to her young age. But fortunately for Britney, the show's producer saw the potential in the young star and helped get her an agent in New York City.She eventually signed a record deal with Jive Records and her debut album was ready for release on 12 January 1999. Baby, One More Time held the number one spot and was certified RIAA 12 x platinum selling more than 20 million copies and won Britney many awards such as the 1999 MTV Europe Award for Best Female Artist.
Following on from this success her follow up album, Oops! I did It Again went 8 times platinum which was a fantastic achievement for someone of 18 years old.
In 2001, she signed a multi-million dollar promotional deal with Pepsi which included TV commercials, and various other advertising between Spears and the company. All together, Britney has earned over US$370 million from her many, multi-million dollar advertisement and endorsement deals all over the world.

According to Sony Music and the Zomba Label Group, Britney has sold over 84 million albums worldwide and is ranked as the 8th best-selling female recording artist in the US with 35 million copies of her albums certified by the RIAA. She is currently the top-selling female artist as well as being the fifth best-selling artist of the decade in the country.

Sorry these days I'm really busy but is a pleasure to show you my new video compilation "The machine of sensations".
This machine explains two parallel truths in the artist and the muse. They challenge each other, love and hate, union and separateness. The photographs and drawings of the muse take their own meaning when she is abandoned in different parts of Paris. The pictures also fly through the air when the artist is trying to discard of her.
Images displayed on the video try to establish an abstract and surreal symbiosis, evoking feelings of unity and disunity, of love and adventure that begin and end with the author and his muse.
Lo siento, estos días he estado muy ocupado, pero aprovecho para mostraros este vídeo títulado "La maquina de las sensaciones".
Esta máquina recoge momentos de dos verdades paralelas: la del artista y la de la musa. El creador y la musa se retan mutuamente. Se quieren y se odian, buscan la unión y la separación. Las fotografías y dibujos de la musa cobran vida y significado propio al dejarlos abandonados en diferentes sitios de Paris. Los dibujos vuelan por el aire cuando el artista trata de desprenderse de ella. Las imágenes que aparecen en el vídeo tratan de establecer una simbiosis abstracta y surrealista evocando sensaciones de unión y desunión, de amor y de suspense que empiezan y acaban en el autor y su musa. La máquina de las imágenes se sustenta y retroalimenta de esta extraña unión sentimental.

A small abandoned hut on a cliff becomes the "Utopia House". To achieve this I set to work with my artworks, some objects and a colored smoke. I've been planning this installation for a long time. It's a photographic project with which I try to express and represent a creative explosion, a sort of surreal avenging vigilante who decides to convert abandoned sites in new places with his ideas. A decorator of peculiar hidden spots. During the performance each object had its meaning, that changed and evolved according to the spectator. Artworks and objects have a new meaning. With this performance, that concludes with the photoshoot you see, I wanted to feel as a part of me different magical places that inspire me. Perhaps this is the first of many other places...

Una pequeña cabaña abandonada en un acantilado, que por una tarde se transforma en “Utopia House”. Para conseguirlo me puse manos a la obra con mis obras, algunos objetos y un montón de humo de colores. Llevo tiempo planeando esta instalación. Un proyecto fotográfico con el que trato de expresar y representar la explosión creativa. Una especie de “surrealista vengador justiciero” que decide ir a sitios abandonados y descontextualizarlos con sus ideas. Un decorador peculiar de parajes recónditos. En la instalación, cada objeto tiene su significado, que cambia y evoluciona en función de su lector. Y cuya esencia se transforma al aparecer descontextualizado en un lugar al que no pertenece. Con esta instalación, que tiene como solución el reportaje fotográfico que véis, quiero hacer míos por unos instantes diferentes lugares mágicos que me inspiran y atraen. Quizás este sea el primero de muchos otros lugares…
